This workshop has a particular focus on capturing likeness by representing the head as a 3-Dimensional form by learning about the planes of the head.
We will explore a variety of media, finding new ways to record what we see as we learn to recognise the shapes within the head and face.
Innovative and inspiring teaching methods will include clay sculpture, and charcoal studies. Working in more detail on day 2 we will investigate the form of the individual features and how they vary from one person to another: this is the key to capturing an accurate likeness. 

Basic drawing skills are required.
