7th June: Drawing from direct observation

  • Tasley Village Hall Church Lane Bridgnorth, England, WV16 4NJ United Kingdom

Drawing, objects, places and people is one of the most enjoyable pass-times in the world. Taking a sketchbook on holiday gives us a wonderful opportunity to record our own unique memories of a time and place. Moreover, drawing skills underpin every type of artwork, whatever the medium, style or subject. They are a vital part of the process of image making and without them, we often get frustrated with inaccurate or unrealistic results.

Join us as we sharpen our skills in drawing objects from direct observation. Learn new methods to improve your accuracy and short cuts to help you tackle proportions and perspective.

This workshop welcomes participants of all abilities and from creative disciplines.
